W magazine and Simon Malls have teamed up to discover modeling talent across the country. Beginning on August 20and Simon will host casting call events at 10 shopping centers nationwide, including The Galleria on August 27.
“Simon is dedicated to celebrating fashion, discovery, and community at our iconic shopping centers,” said Christopher Lane, The Galleria’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. “We know our young shoppers love fashion, and malls are the ideal scouting ground for new models. By teaming up with W magazine, we're giving them a unique chance to enter the modeling and fashion world.”

Through our program with Simon, we are reaching readers and shoppers who are passionate about modeling and fashion.”

Easy Breezy Style This Spring...

Easy Breezy Style this spring that you can put together to go out in the town, or on a date, It's all about layering in menswear.

The way I look at it is, if you can pick out a really good long sleeve shirt like I did from Banana Republic where I got on sale on a discounted rate, when I used to work there than you can easily pair it with any casual blazer you have. I am using an H&M I bought at my local Buffalo Exchange that came with a pair of pants for $12.00 dollars that I am wearing with Rude denim skinny jeans from Hot Topic, where I can only find the right amount of skinny to fit my chicken legs.

Lastly I am wearing Banana Republic shoes with sunglasses and my own accessories  and watch from Rue 21 to create this spring look that should keep you cool this spring.

Thanks a lot to my photographer friend http://auliyafloryphotography.weebly.com/ for working with me on my Style Blog.

Stay Tuned as I share my next style tip that that I've learned over the years.

Sincerely,
Jesus Gonzalez

Primavera Fashion Show

Simon Malls Primavera Fashion show. Styled and organized by Leslie Rivas Kelly who works closely for the Simon Mall business otherwise known as the Galleria Houston in Texas. With assistance from Amee Ly and Leslie Lee, I managed to also lend my helping hands to help put this production together to show off all of the new spring fashions that can be attained from the same houston mall. With designers like Tina Turk, Banana Republic, Macys and many more that a majority had many layered looks and jackets which you wouldn't think for spring 2015, but I happened to like especially for menswear that can be a bit boring without a jacket to polish a look.
The show first consisted of mannequin modeling and later transitioned to a small fashion show production showing off the looks. The last day to see the Primavera mannequin modeling is Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Houston Galleria Mall that you can't miss with glamorous plant sculptures strategically placed with the models to pair the perfect spring setting together.

Designer: Johanna Johnson
I am just obsessed with Johanna Johnson, not only was she so genuine and sweet while I was assisting her backstage as an intern at the 4th annual Fashion Houston 2013 Audi fashion show but Johanna is becoming a must wear designer as seen here on the 2014 Grammys. I have been seeing her designs being worn a lot on celebs this year. Christine teagan just recently wore a sparkling slit gold gown from Johanna Johnson blinding everyone at The Grammy Award's red carpet. While the singer Pink followed with a geourgeous moderate front slit strapless dress that has a corsetry-inspired bodice with bodycon seaming esthetics as seen on the runway at Fashion Houston 2013, that I still remember Johanna had me send to get steamed in preparation for the runway show. It is great to see the dresses at The Grammy Awards 2014 since seeing the detail they have from first hand experience and exposure to the Johanna Johnson brand.
